Based on the new curriculum, it was announced that the evaluation of the pre-primary and secondary textbooks, which was implemented on a trial basis, is nearing completion.

 

The evaluation of the book will be done by teachers from pre-primary and secondary schools that will be implemented on a trial basis and by educational experts who participated in the event.

 

This year in Addis Ababa in 11 pre-primary schools that teach Amharic and 11 Afan Oromo curriculums, the new curriculum is being implemented on a trial basis, according to Addis Ababa Education Bureau pre-primary curriculum preparation and implementation expert Ato Nega Geremue and the pre-primary curriculum of Afan Oromo curriculum. Ato Alemayehu, an expert in education preparation and implementation, explained to the beginner in the assessment; He also announced that the pre-primary education textbooks prepared for level 1 and level 2 have been carefully evaluated by the teachers from the schools and the teachers who participated in the event and have reached the final stage for publication.

 

At the same time, the Amharic textbooks for the 9th and 10th grades, where the new curriculum has been implemented on a trial basis, are being evaluated by the teachers from the schools and the education experts of the office. He pointed out that information based on strong ideas that should be included in the process has been collected from teachers in each school, and he explained that currently the evaluation has reached its final stage and preparations for publication have been completed.

 

The director of Afan Oromo Curriculum Development and Implementation Directorate at the Addis Ababa City Administration Education Bureau, Balai Negash, said that the book, which was prepared for 9th and 10th grade students who learn Afan Oromo as their mother tongue, is being evaluated by teachers from the schools and the office's education experts. He noted that the process includes inputs collected from the schools and the necessary design and illustration work has been done and the books are ready for publication.
